Cindy, Branch Manager
Cindy is the Branch Manager at the North Clinic. She is married and has a daughter and a son. Cindy also has a Great Dane, Lop Eared Bunny, and an African Grey Parrot. Cindy started working for Animal Medical Clinic in 1987. She enjoys working with animals and their families, helping in any way she can.
Mercedes, Receptionist
Mercedes is a receptionist at the North clinic. She has been with Animal Medical Clinic since 2005. Mercedes is married and has five four-legged "kids", two Austrailan Cattle Dogs, Chesney and Ella, and three cats, Amelia, Tubby and Leonidas. When not working, Mercedes enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
Dina was born and raised locally. She graduated from Belvidere High School in 1992. Dina attended Parkland College, receiving her Associated Degree in Applied Science. She has been working for the Animal Medical Clinic North since 1996. She enjoys learning about animal behavior problems and how to resolve them. When not working, Dina enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
Liz, Certified Veterinary Technician
Liz graduated with an Associates in Applied Science from Parkland College in 1999, and has been working for the Animal Medical Clinic ever since. She is married and has three young children. Liz's extended family consists of three dogs and two cats. When she's not working, she and her husband are playing with their kids, camping, or just hanging around the house. She loves working with all types of animals, from dogs and cats to exotic birds and reptiles. Liz enjoys educating people about husbandry and behavioral problems. She can't wait to see you and your animal friends!
Mary, Certified Veterinary Technician
Mary graduated from Joliet Junior College in 2005 with an Associates in Applied Science. She started working at Animal Medical Clinic in May of 2005. Mary's pet family includes two dogs, Amelia and Hope, and five cats Kitta Boo, LunaTuna, Buster, Kateri, and Pheonix, a turtle and a chinchilla. When she's not with her animals, she likes to read, grow houseplants and watch movies. Mary can't wait to see you and your animals at the clinic!
Tracy, Veterinary Assistant
Tracy was born and raised in Detroit, Mich. and moved to the Rockford area after discharge from the United States Navy in 1997. She started working for Animal Medical Clinic in 2003 as a receptionist and has been a Technician Assistant for 5 years. She is currently attending Rockford Career College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Tracy and Mel have been together for 10+ years and share their family with their son, and 3 pets. Lola, a 12+ yr old Pomeranian, and Shamrock, a 1+ yr old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and leading up the pack is Razzle, 9+ yr old Blue Front Amazon. Tracy enjoys the company of all animals and has a special interest in exotic animals. She looks forward to meeting you and your pet(s).
Roger, Care Staff
Roger works at the North Clinic helping with kennels and maintenance. He has worked here since 2002, part-time in the mornings. Roger at one time had owned dogs, but has no pets at this time. After retiring, he realized he needed something to do. Roger really enjoys being around all the animals he takes care of. He has found that it is very easy to become attached to the animals after taking care of them for a few days, plus, he believes there is the benefit of working with a great group of people!
Christina "C.J.", Receptionist
Christina has been working at the Animal Medical Clinic since 2008 and has worked in the veterinary field since 2003. CJ has a household of pets including 3 dogs, 4 cats, 4 ferrets, 3 rats and a turtle! Needless to say, she loves animals. Outside of work, Christina enjoys reading, fishing, and rollerblading.
Christina, "C.B.", Receptionist
Though originally from Illinois, Christina is new to the Rockford area. Most recently, Christina spent 9 years living in Roanoke, Virginia where she spent 8 years working at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. Christina joined the AMC-North team in June of 2009. She is married with 3 children as well as 3 furry kids, Pacino- a 3 year old Pit Bull, and 2 kitties- Beast-E-Boy and Baby Kitty. Christina enjoys spending her spare time with her family and playing competitive Mini-Put with her husband and is still working on a win!
Julienne, Certified Veterinary Technician
Julienne is one of our part-time certified technicians. She graduated from Rockford Career College in 2008 with an Associates in Animal Science. Julienne loves animals and has many of her own including 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 turtle, and fish. In her free time she enjoys taking dogs for walks, watching movies, and surfing the internet.
Andrea, Certified Veterinary Technician
Andrea graduated from Parkland College in 2004 with an Associates in Applied Science. She has been working for Animal Medical Clinic since October of 2007. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, camping and rollerblading. Andrea has a dog and 3 cats.
Savannah, Care Staff
Savannah started working at the Animal Medical Clinic in 2010. She has always loved caring for animals and has raised birds for many years. Savannah is currently attending Beloit College working towards a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Music. She aspires to be a veterinarian specializing in avian medicine.
